I've estranged my blog from blogsphere for the longest time yet. 1 month of being completely idle. I would think i've forgotten all about this blog but a friendly reminder from a friend was timely.
I've finally decided to privatise my blog.Something i've been intending to do for a good long time but never seem to have gotten to it. No particular reason just that i want this blog to be an avenue for my woes that i would deem more private.
So till my next post. :)
toodles.

August is approaching and i can literally hear my head screaming hysterically at that very fact.
Everything and everyone seems to be in 5th gear right now and just like 2 years back, sleep deprivation has taken it's toll on most people.
Today was exceptionally peaceful in school. The morning assembly wasn't such a bore because very few teachers drone today :) Besides, it poured after that till school ended making the entire atmosphere in class delightful. One of the reasons why i like rain which is so heavy is because it gives you a reason to not be attentive in class because you can't hear what the teacher is saying and hence, you're at perfect liberty to be less alert and interested. lol. Everyone practices it so don't judge me :)
Moving on, we have new lower sixes prefects already which i thought was fast because it has only been a month. Oh well, as much as i detest being told countlessly to button up my collar and start moving to quad, i enjoy the antics and perfect display of dedication of a few new prefects. Yes, my sourcesof entertainment as you might have noticed have been limited by quite abit that i have to resort to things like these :)
Oh before i end, i have to say that i'm indeed sad that Yamin Ahmad has departed. One of her movies 'sepet' which coincidentally is the only Malaysian movie i've ever watched was actually really good. It left a good impact on me for some funny reason i no longer remember but some scenes from the show are recollectable :) Anyways, i thought that she was a rare talent in our country and hence will go watch her movies soon :D

Greetings.
Well, let's start out with a good shoutout shall we
" Everyone should go watch the new Harry Potter movie!"
Okays, i thought it was good. I liked it.Alot. I thought it was the only movie out of the six that actually followed the original story, hence a good translation onto screen.
I liked the light-hearted scenes in it as well, funny i must say. lol. The effects were fine, not the blow-you-out-of-your-mine-transformer liked- kind but acceptable.
So overall, yes i enjoyed my 2 hours and 30 minutes freezing in the cinema :)

I also watched Public Enemies starring Johnny Depp. It was to me a little slow and rather predictable. The story basically depicts a prisoner who broke out and started robbing banks hence became the most wanted person at that time. It's a true story mind you. It was another 2 and a half hours spent but i wouldn't complain since i've always been an ardent fan of Mr. Depp :)

So yes, this week the greatest anticipation was H.Potter but i also got a great surprise from my parents which got me smilling the whole week :)

Cheers,
The lil lion :) muaxes.

Hello.
I feel bad for leaving for leaving my blog idle for almost a week. I just never had the time or enthusiasm to blog in the past 7 days hence the unattended page.
Anyways, i deem today an interesting day for myself and Malaysia. Why? Because they finally dropped the verdict of choosing the medium for Science and Mathematics after deliberating for what felt like a few centuries. And like always, absurd decisions were made. Reverting it back to BM would be tantamount to taking two steps back in our already bereaved nation. I don't see the logic and i don't think i ever will. Yes, surely SOME of the students would have a better understanding of the subjects and will less likely be sidelined in class-but that is only short termed. Don't they realised that for this country to compete on the international stage, English is the linqua franca that must be mastered. The gravity and effects of this policy to me is extremely detrimental. In time, they will see.
Next up, i watched the Michael Jackson farewell memorial yesterday. It was depressing to a certain extent though i thought it was well done on the whole. I liked the speeches especially the one by Brooke Shields.I thought it was genuinely sincere and touching. The whole thing was just somber to me which is exactly what i wanted it to be in the first place. I believe that night was about the sole purpose of honoring possibly the greatest performer in history. Surely some new icon will surface sooner or later but the great Michael will never be forgotten :)
Rangers had a cooking competition today. I found my group entertaining. We came without a portable stove and wok. But in the end we cooked up 3 dishes-very homely ones i have to say :)haha. I thought it was quite fun though other groups were really geared up to win-can't say the same for mine but yes, they did exceedingly well. I mean some of them do have a niche for cooking!
Moving on, it's already July. The pace seems to be speeding up. This time last year i was still mourning for my cheerleading competition. Now i'm mourning for Michael Jackson and my unsolved maths question. And Adrian's leaving for Sg soon so yea sigh :( On the other hand,Harry Potter is premiering next week! Cheers to that :)
Toodles :)

The entire world mourns today for the lost of the King of Pop that came without the slightest hint. I like everyone else was utterly speechless for good few seconds, just trying to comprehend the truth that seem almost too absurd to believe at that time. Even those who weren't big fans of the man felt a tinge of sadness as such an accomplished talent had to depart so suddenly.
I'll never deem myself as MJ's biggest fan,but i admire and respect his art of performing as well as his music. Always filled with much professionalism and charisma, his performances has never failed to leave me awe. Somehow i believe his death has definitely evokedthe same uproar and hype as the late Elvis Presley.
Michael when alive had a string of hits namely Thriller, Beat It, I'm Bad, Heal The World and it goes on. I have to say he has one way or the other revolutionised the music industry and for that he will forever remain a legend. I don't think we'll ever know if the allegations made against him are true but we know for the fact that the media had in ways tampered with our minds making us believe the worst of him. It brought him truckloads of problems which eventually caused him his career. It's kind of like Britney but in this case we're unsure if he deserved it or he was merely a victim.Nonetheless, Michael Jackson will be a name remembered by many generations to come. I do trust that although he has passed on, he'll continue to live through his music and will always intrigue everyone around the world. RIP MJ.

Me Against The Music

hello.
this is just a spontaneous update.
I'd just like to say..
I am not fond of blogs with a background music.
You get me.
Imagine this, you have your own music on-and suddenly when you open a blog page,
that music comes on - which overlaps with your music.
And that's not the only thing that will drive you crazy.
It's when you try to scroll up and down frantically but still failing to find the damn player on the blog!
I'm out.toodles.

Greetings.
By now you would be wondering if i'm mentally challenged for updating more often than my usual waiting-for-the-grass-to-grow pace, worry not. I've just been sick and hence, unable to go out and find myself a life. So i'm actually hoping that i'd get well soon enough before my holidays evaporate into thin air.
Because my life now is very much void of interesting activities, i read alot of blogs. I check for updates like 5 times a day. Prolly still an understatement especially when i'm starting to think that people don't update fast enough and it gets me cranky because i have nothing new to read.LOL. I know, you get the severity of this new disorder.
Yesterday i watched the travel channel for a straight 4 hours rather than my usual dose of E! which i have to add is becoming a bore if they don't add new True Hollywood Stories :). Yes, so back to my travel channel. It brought back my vehement enthusiasm of wanting to travel again. There are just too many things i want to see in different countries and i get hyped up just thinking about it. I've decided that after i've won my one million dollars either from the amazing race( hee caryn remember? LOL) or the are you smarter than a 5th grader show, i'll explore every inch of Rome and then shoot off to Ireland. Don't smirk. A girl can dream :) Peter Suan would prolly understand,i have to say i absolutely adore his insatiable hunger for travelling and how he talks passionately about it just leaves you envious. Plus if you were to see his travel resume, you'd want to marry him LOL. He's old so no.
Moving on, i also watched Memoirs of a Geisha yesterday. I've always liked that show eventhough it was pitch black for most parts of movie ( Pirated dvds have come way people) but i enjoyed it. I read the book before the movie was released and like always, the book was better mainly because when you read, everything is left to the imagination :) Nevertheless, the movie was quite a good interpretation of the book - Hatsumomo was such an interesting whore.LOL.
I think that will do for this entry. I can barely talk because of my tonsilitis which is a killer.
ps- Some need to embrace the art of paragraphing. Sorry lar but with eyes like mine, you wouldn't want to tax them too much, they might disappear :P
Toodles.
